Resources: People and Tools PRH Consulting, Inc. is currently a small operation. Whether we ever grow larger is an open question. Certainly with the technology today, a small organization can handle much more work than in the past as much of the labor content can be handled by the computer. If you have the necessary tools and templates, this even further reduces labor content. The benefit of the technology is that it allows knowledge workers to focus more of their time on the knowledge-based portion of their job. Also, over the past 10 years businesses have changed. It seems that many companies have grown their internal resources rather than rely on outside firms to handle complete projects. With that staffing strategy, a small operation can provide targeted input on areas of specialization that don't exist (and aren't worth the time and investment for the client to grow) inside. But, there are times when you just need more people. For those situations, PRH Consulting has built up a substantial network of consultants, many of them also individual practitioners. If a project calls for expertise in database development, computer-based training, video production, complex web programming, stand-up training, sophisticated graphics, or just plain more people, PRH Consulting has the business relationships to pull together a great team quickly. And, as we have worked together before, the "spin-up" time is minimal. For information on the kinds of projects PRH Consulting has completed for clients, click here.
